2. Information we collect

Information you give us

  • Contact details — first and last name, email address, phone number.
  • Project details — the address of the property where you plan an ADU, city and ZIP code, the model you are interested in, your project stage, and anything you write in a message.
  • How you heard about us, if you choose to tell us.

Information collected automatically

  • Device and usage data — IP address, browser type, pages viewed, referring page and approximate location, collected through cookies and similar technologies by our website platform and analytics tools.

Information from other sources

  • To prepare your property assessment we review publicly available property information, such as satellite imagery and title records, for the address you provide.

3. How we use your information

  • To prepare your free property assessment and recommend models that fit your lot.
  • To contact you about your request by phone, email or text message.
  • To provide quotes, plan your project and deliver our services.
  • To send updates or marketing emails — you can unsubscribe at any time.
  • To understand how our website is used and improve it.
  • To comply with the law and protect our rights.

4. Calls, texts and emails

When you submit a form, you agree that we may contact you about your request at the phone number and email you provide, including by phone call or text message. Message and data rates may apply. You can reply STOP to any text to opt out, and every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. Agreeing to be contacted is not a condition of buying anything from us.

5. How we share information

We share personal information only as needed to run our business:

  • Service providers who host our website, deliver email and help us operate (for example, our website platform and email provider). They may use the information only to perform services for us.
  • Project partners such as lenders, engineers or permitting agencies — only when you ask us to proceed with your project or it is needed to deliver it.
  • Legal reasons — when required by law or to protect rights and safety.
  • Business transfers — if our business is merged or sold, as part of that transaction.

We do not sell your personal information.

6. Cookies and analytics

Our website uses cookies that are necessary for it to work, and analytics cookies that tell us which pages are visited. If we use advertising tools in the future, we will update this policy and give you a way to opt out. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; some parts of the site may not work as expected. Our website does not currently respond to “Do Not Track” browser signals.

7. How long we keep information

We keep personal information for as long as needed for the purposes above — for example, while we are working on your request or project and for a reasonable period afterwards to meet legal, tax and warranty obligations — and then delete or anonymize it.

8. How we protect information

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect personal information. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your California privacy rights

If you are a California resident, you have the right to:

  • Know what personal information we collect, use and disclose.
  • Access a copy of your personal information.
  • Correct inaccurate information.
  • Delete your personal information, subject to legal exceptions.
  • Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information — we do not sell or share it for cross-context advertising.
  • Not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

To make a request, email concierge@baymodular.com or call (209) 214-6845. We will verify your request using information you have already given us and respond within the time required by law. You may use an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf.

10. Children’s privacy

Our website is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when it last changed. If changes are significant, we will post a notice on our website.
